I am a seasoned attorney with twenty years of diverse experience that includes small firm, in-house, and solo practice. Over the course of my career, I have chosen to focus on small businesses, estate planning, and nonprofit law. Real-World Business Experience

My small business practice is rooted in my experience as a small business owner. Over the years I have owned two law practices, been the co-owner of an alternative fuels manufacturer and distributor, and most recently, the owner of a maritime management company that manages superyachts in the Caribbean Sea.

My business experience has provided deep insight into the pressures and pain points that business owners face, as well as an appreciation for the real-world importance of lucid contracts, positive personal relationships, and clear communication with stakeholders.

Dedicated to Community and Public Safety

When I am not in the office, I can be found volunteering with Clackamas County Search and Rescue (CSAR), operating alongside the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office. As a SAR team member, I work to locate lost and missing persons, provide wilderness medical care, and facilitate emergency transport when necessary.

CSAR also supports the Sheriff's Office by conducting evidence and cold case searches, and often collaborates with other local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies to help protect our community. I am also a certified First Aid and CPR instructor.
